Some Notes I Made When I First Started Recording:

The light inside me/us still burns. Dim at times, often dark,

the lyrics and music keep a log of the ups and downs that

are part of my life. I didn’t ask for this - I can choose to use

it like tinder for a fire. 

 

The tones, the colors, the shading - there’s wood, earth,

amber, lit by lanterns, falling up, moving like a bandit

through life, but (somewhat desperately) wanting a port

to call home. 

 

I hope to give this music away and bring light and

understanding to the dark corners of listeners who may

need it the most. There is always hope. I hope to connect

with people through this music and this work.
